About me

Role/About

I am a reporter and a campaign assistant with the London Project as well as being an Arabic-English translator. I am from the Republic of Yemen. I originally studied English & American Literature and Linguistics. I took up teaching on leaving university and subsequently became a translator at an English language newspaper. It was at this newspaper that I was introduced to journalism. I really enjoy being a journalist as it is both exciting and I believe it has a very important role in society. I have trained with the BBC, Dutsche Wella, and other international journalism institutes operating in the Middle East.
