After a PhD in Nuclear Physics while working for five years at the European Laboratory for Nuclear Physics (
CERN, where the web was born...), Mario discovered that people can be more interesting than elementary particles.
He travelled extensively in South America, shooting a
documentary and volunteering with the Brazilian Landless Workers' Movement.
He was a fixed-term professor at the Universities of Como and Milan and software R&D manager in a nation-wide Italian ISP.
Now he is a
free lance journalist in London and webmaster for some non-profit organizations. Currently, the londonbookproject.com is the most exciting project he is involved in.
He hates computers and programming.
