At 08:00 sharp, I am standing at the Turnpike Lane bus and Tube station. Within 20 minutes, 10 buses embark on journeys to destinations across the city. On Sunday it's a lonely journey though. This morning the streets are quiet and a hush prevails and many Britons are still dreaming in their beds, despite the warm sunshine outside.
